There are two types of fireplace kits: DIY builds and precast kits.
- DIY fireplace kits require you to source materials, plan the construction, and manage the entire build. While this might appeal to experienced hands-on homeowners, it can easily result in delays, budget blowouts, or subpar results.
- Precast fireplace kits, like ours at Trendz, offer a much simpler and more reliable alternative. Each fireplace comes with a precast concrete shell and a 6mm steel firebox already installed. It’s craned into place, fixed to a concrete foundation, and finished with a quality flue system. No guesswork, no stress.

3 Easy Steps to Installation
Installing a Trendz fireplace kit is quick and straightforward. Here's how it works:
- Pick your fireplace & prepare the foundation
Choose your preferred model. Then either contract a professional or DIY a concrete pad (all dimensions are provided in our installation guide).
- Place the precast shell
The concrete fireplace shell, with steel firebox already installed, is craned into place via a Hiab truck and secured to the foundation using the supplied brackets.
- Install the flue
Fit the flue (or dual flues for the Twin Peak) to ensure safe and efficient smoke ventilation.
From there, you can customise the exterior with the finish of your choice; plaster & paint, stone, brick, or raw sealed concrete.
