The Trendz Outdoors story
The idea for an original outdoor fireplace first sparked when Charlie Lawry was chatting with his nephew, who had built his own outdoor fireplace. They both agreed—it would be so much simpler if one could just buy a fully assembled fireplace, ready to install. Seeing the potential, Charlie set out to create a mold.
After months of experimenting with different concrete mixes, refining designs, re-pouring structures, and perfecting fireboxes, the first fireplaces were finally market-ready.
As the company grew, so did its expertise in innovative design. When faced with the challenge of maintaining open, unobstructed views in scenic locations, Trendz Outdoors engineered a sleek, slimline steel flue—combining functionality with aesthetics. This problem-solving approach has led to a range of custom projects, each pushing the boundaries of outdoor fireplace design and craftsmanship.
Today, as a leading outdoor fireplace manufacturer, this family-run business continues to thrive. From design to production, they create fireplaces for everything from large-scale developments to custom backyard features enjoyed by customers around the world.
